At first I was just going to paint the $2 bill, but I struggled to figure out how to partially cover up the serial number, as I don’t like to show it in its entirety when I paint money. The number “2” wasn’t really a conscious thing in assembling the pieces, but it all came together, and I think the painting ended up being a pretty convincing illusion. Thanks for looking!
